These pages needed a structural overhaul for clarity of purpose. There were a couple of much needed feature additions and / or improvements on our radar which customers have been asking for, namely:

1. Downloading an invoice as a PDF and table format (TIB);

2. Invoice preview;

3. The inability to look into past invoicing could be problematic for accounting;

4. There also weren't any means to convey important announcements concerning billing / invoices;

5. We wanted to rework the way we're invoices by status to quickly tell which are paid or paid in part, unpaid, void, etc.

Most of these were backlog items, thus identified prior to my arrival, and were just waiting for a pair of skillful hands to materialize ☺️

Designing pages like invoices isn't overly complex. It requires a blend of common sense and effective communication with the right people to identify which items are essential for customers to complete their tasks or for others, such as accountants, to review.
