As we drew closer towards changing the business model of all of our products to SaaS, and unite them under one umbrella, it only made sense to consolidate personas across the board, so that we could define and deliver a coherent experience. From a design system perspective, this was about deploying common patterns across the board.
It was important to find similarities (overlaps) among the user groups we (aim to) cater to would benefit us as we looked to build a central square to accommodate our solutions and ensure a coherent experience for a variety of users. We needed to make sure this data is being considered in our design system (DS) and other design work. Because we're going to bring all of our products under one umbrella, we need to make sure we're catering to the right audience (personas shared across products). The more we know about our audience, the better we can structure the common ground / common areas within these products.
🔎 Collect persona (context, use cases, workflows, pain points) data from Quadient and Quadient-acquired products ✅ to be cross-referenced to identify overlaps, unique experiences and workflows.

The project of cross-referencing data for Evolve aimed to ✅ consolidate personas across different products in order to create a cohesive and unified user experience. As the business model shifted towards Software as a Service (SaaS) and all products were brought under one umbrella, it was crucial to identify similarities and overlaps among the user groups in order to design and deliver a consistent experience.
From a design system perspective, this project focused on ✅ identifying common patterns that could be applied across all the products. By collecting persona data from Quadient and Quadient-acquired products, the team aimed to cross-reference and analyze this data to identify commonalities, unique experiences, and workflows.
🏆
This project helped the team become more familiar with the personas across the different products, ensuring an up-to-date and accurate representation of their client groups. This knowledge allowed them to accommodate workflows, identify which patterns to use, narrowing down focus on specific use cases resulting in shorter iteration cycles, faster and more confident deployment.
